I have a Mk1 Fabia VRS, I was driving the other day and noticed the trip had a little spanner symbol next to it. I assumed this meant it needed servicing. However, when I turned the engine off then came to drive it later and turned it back on 'OIL' was flashing where the trip mileage usually is. Itonly flashes for about a minute but then the trip mileage returns with the spanner symbol next to it. Ive topped up the oil but this still keeps happening :(. Any ideas?

It's saying you need to change the oil and oil filter.

If you've already done this just reset it.

Switch ignition off, hold the trip button, and switch the ignition on. It should then display ---- and the trip will be set back to 0.0 miles

Well that's how to do it in mine (06 vrs)
