1.2 TSi Uprated Exhaust

Featured Replies

Hi, as per title, does anyone know anywhere that makes an uprated exhaust for a fabia 1.2 TSi? ive had a quick scout about on youtube etc and found a few supersprints on polo 6R and one on a fabia scout which had been modded from a polo. The supersprint really does sound good on the polos, im taking it something like a powerflow wouldn't have the same effect?

Dave

You could get the poweflow designed to sound and look how you want it to as essientialy its a custom exhaust

Ive been put off powerflows in the past as they usually sound like universal items. In saying that ive only ever heard them on the likes of 106 quickslivers and saxo vtr ETC

Think the problem there is that most of the people that drive them want really loud exhausts so theyl opt for the smallest silencers.

Plus since the tsi has a turbo there generaly quiter than a non turbo engine.....unless its a turbod honda and then it just sounds like a swarm of angry bees

Yeah, youre probably right. I don't want it loud at alll just want a visable exit exhaust, maybe similar to a vRS exit and abit of rasp

If its got 2 silincers as standered you could get one removed, that would probably give you a better tone without making it massivly loud

I had a custom one on mine from Powerflow. I asked for it to be fairly quiet and I have to say it had a nice rumble on power but was otherwise nice and discreet.

don't suppose you have any vids? wil a powerflow effect warrenty?

Dave

Dave you can buy exhaust tips off skoda if you want

Ben

I have a custom powerflow on mine aswell.. but mine is HTP not a Tsi, and i think mine sounds pretty good actually :)

did it affect your warranty having a powerflow? tempted to go for one or longlife or something similar

Dave

It will affect warranty as it's a modification.

id there not any skoda approved places i can go? to keep my warrent ofc

no dave you cant put an exhaust on and keep your warranty, guess what i saw today

Warranty will only be affected if it can be shown that the fault you are claiming for was caused by the modified part.
