Replacing Swing with non OEM radio

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm attempting to replace the Swing radio in my new Fabia with an aftermarket unit.

I've ordered this fitting kit:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150864065798

It came with a Fakra to ISO adapter, but from what I read around there are no illumination or switched 12V pins in the Fabia's Fakra connector.

The kit's aerial adapter has a blue wire with an exposed terminal which I'm not sure what to do with.

I found the images attached below which would have probably been useful if I could read Czech.

But I can't :( .

My questions are:

1. Where should I connect the switched 12V wire?

2. Where should I connect the illumination wire?

3. The aerial adapter's blue wire, what is it for and where should I connect it?

4. Should I connect something to the fuse block as shown in image 1 figure 3?

Thanks,

Avner.
