Featured Replies

Well guys my mates got a little fabia tdi elegance and well the heating aint working, when i say heating i mean the blower motor wont come on, i've taken it out stuck 12v on it and the motor is working tip top, so theres not a problem with the blower motor, and ideas ?

checked the fuses?

i did before this fault developed but not since, erm any idea what number it would be ?

think it tells you on the cover maybe?

i remember looking at all the numbers and what fuses are in which place.... could be in the manual or on the side pannel you pull off that covers the fuses

Won't come on any speed even 4?

@ hutch, nah mate doesn't say on the cover and the hynes manual doesn't tell, he bought the car without the owners manual :S

@ tech1e wont come on at any speed setting at all.

hmm, i might be thinking of AutoData or somthing, but i 100% remember looking through somthing with a list of all the fuses, where they should be and what amp fuse should be fitted... I'll check tomorrow at work if noone els has answerd by then :) Tech1e's the guy though!

Edit: Oh and btw, its worth pulling the fuse cover off (the end of the dashboard on the r/h/s) and looking over the fuses 1 by 1, never know what els he might find, but its usually how i find the broken fuses rather than looking up which slot the fuse will be found.
