Remove radio casette player

Featured Replies

Is there any diy method to remove the radio cassette player from the fabia? I dont have any keys at the moment and wondered if anything else could be used?

Flathead screw driver at each side. Somtimes damages one of the lugs behind the casset player but can bend back and is unnoticeable when re-fitted. Just be brave!

Dont think it will fit.

You will need some iso leads

All stereos plug straight in to the Fabia, with an aerial adapter. No ISO leads required. Just swap the red and yellow wires over on the stereo's loom. 95% of stereos provide bullet connectors, so all you have to do is pull and push the connectors together. (All any adapter you will buy does is swap these two wires over and add extra unnecessary bulk, making it more difficult to fit the stereo in than it already is :) ).
