Sorry I don't mean rams I mean raisers! To make the bonnet near the windscreen vent to let out hot air!

Having seen a car with a raised bonnet (not an Octy - its was a civic), it makes it look like you've had a very poor quality accident repair TBH

Agree. I've seen this on a DC5 and I can't appreciate the look.

To me it's just a way of letting heat escape.

Lot of effort for something that wont make one bit of difference to your car or performance . Not bad way of letting water in your engine either .

It's your car. Sometimes other forum members (myself included) can be a bit quick to pass judgment.

If you like the look, go for it. Don't expect any performance/practical benefit as I doubt there will be any. :thumbup:

it doesnt really help with heat i had some on my 106 years ago and noticed no difference at all

even after i cut i giant hole in the bulkhead (my throttle bodies sat close and i feared for airflow) there wasnt any difference then
