What Alloys suit the VRS?

Featured Replies

I used to be a Jap nut, and the alloys on there ranged from Rota Grids, 3SDM's etc, and I was aware of VAG's and their BBS's etc, but upon googling modded VRS's, I couldn't find one that had a nice set of wheels on them.

Anyone post up some VRS's with awesome rims?

I fitted the wheels from my old car onto the Fabia the other day and I was suprised with how they looked!

Check out the very useful fabia topic at the top of the page, in there you will find the alloys archive. Lots of nice wheels in there.

I think I have found the alloys for me:

enjoy.

I am looking for a set of 16's so I can keep the mileage / speedo correct.

Also, the alloy sticky is a brilliant idea, it gave me the idea on what to look for, it's just a shame that half the image links are broken...

17 dare rs, 7.5 front 8.5 rears

Jap style wheels do suit the Fab, Rota grids could look good.

Quick question

17 dare rs, 7.5 front 8.5 rears

I was in my local motor shop today, the guy showed me the Dares, the only thing I didn't like about them was the Dare logo. If I had them, I would be putting a Skoda logo straight over it. I see you have the right idea also.

Surly its all down to personal taste,

Well yeah, it is all down to personal taste, but then there is "actual" taste. I don't mean any disrespect to anyones taste, each to their own an' all.

In that Fabia Alloy link posted above, there is ,however, a Fabia with Lexani wheels. These are ugly as sin and don't deserve to be on any car let alone a Fabia.

Some alloys are developed for one particular scene, such as Jap, or Euro... but then you get those "in-between" ones that the chavvy boy racers buy (typically those half black, half silver ones) that deserve to get melted back down and recast as something more reputable, like a pub urinal.

Use the right tyres and speedo won't be effected

I agree, the 9's are a bit too much out and will get attention of the blue devils (as I heard a gypsy kid call them one time.)

The guy in the Strathie cruise needs to learn how to roll arches correctly, his n/s rear quarter is totally gubbed!
