Plastidip question for front grille

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Really quick one really...

I'm going to be spraying my front grille today (just th chrome bit anyway)

If I use plastidip is there any orep to be done e.g sanding etc??

Or is it just a case of ensuring the surface is clean?

I do have some primer and other black spray but thats going to take a while and a lot more coats (i know I will acheive better results this way) but I haven't got the time to do it this way

Also I believe that the plastidip can be peeled off afterwards if required therefore protecting the chrome bit?

Quick answer would be a massive help as I'm off out to get some this morning

Thanks

there are some good vids on youtube of a guy from the us of a who is big in the plastidip world over there and has lots of tips for all sorts of plastidipping.

I watched them vids too, just can't stop thinking about the top rated comment & the size of his right arm lol

As for plastidip jus done mine, went badly wrong first few times and wasted a lot :( came out okay in the end but will prob do again.

only advice is shake the can for at least 5 mins!
