do the L&K ones have heated seats and does yours, so that the connectors are in place. What about side airbags?

Thanks for your reply - I think the one you saw is the one I saw too. I think grey leather would complement Diamond silver rather well.

Its just a thought for the future. I need to get to the bottom of my present list of things to do first .... air compressor, parking sensors, clutch peddle play ....sigh

Mine were a doddle as the LE seats weren't heated, so it was just a straight swap

As you say, battery was diconnected before removal to save anything going bang

What age car has the interior come out of? Just be aware the seat airbag connector may be different. I'm currently battling this challenge on getting some newer seats into mine :|

Haven't got a complete picture on this yet, but the info about Brimma's seats obviously swapping straight over is useful. Is yours an MY08 Bryan? *Think* the airbag connector may have changed on an MY07 but as I say - more info needs to be found.

I looked at this L& K on eBay, but it's grey and not black.

Side airbags not an issue as long as proper precautions taking before disconnecting them (battery disconnect & wait for an hour etc), heaters will be more challenging without the Elegance having the wiring already there, so heaters won't be available, even though fitted to the seats. Electric adjustment easily solved by changing the seat runners etc from the old seats.

Electric seats were one of the things we were looking for, subject to the right vintage set for the airbag connector,

Can I clarify that if a set with runners are found the fitting to a 08 elegance should be possible and would the memory function work?

Would the mirror memory also be possible?

I guess auto reversing mirror function may be a ask too far.

roughly how long job to do front and back?

Might be worth asking if they have the controller available from this car then, as well as the interior.

Looks like it would be too much work to get it all working.

normaly both seats are electric but just the driver has memory.

I guess you could get a LHD drivers seat for the passenger with memory if the memory bit is in the seat controll.

Maybe just the drivers seat would not be so bad.

Maybe what I need is the full specs for the electrics on these cars and have a browse

(I am a software engineer with some control systems experience)

I think I will just have to train the OH to push the seat back before she gets out, with the handle on the inside its a bit of a pain leaning over if she forgets.
