Steering - veering to the left

Featured Replies

When I accelerate holding my wheel straight, even accelerating at speeds of 60mph or possibly more my car veers off to the left. Then once I let go of the accelerator it goes in a straight line again ? Any ideas why this could be ? and surely not torque steer at those speeds.

Could also be a worn bush.

must be the worn bush. This is a whirring noise about 30/40mph

Lift the wheels of the ground and give it a firm twist left and right etc to feel for any movement/knocks. That should give you a slight indication if the bushes a worn. A pot hole could of knocked out your tracking.

I'd get it sorted A.S.A.P otherwise you'll tyres will take heavy wearing on the outer or inside tread.
