You'll be spoilt for choice then if you want a vRS.

I have a soft spot for white cars (don't know why, perhaps because they are so easy to clean!) and was searching for white Octavia's.

All I got was vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS, vRS (you get my point!)

That many yellow ones :giggle:

Yeah that's exactly what I will be getting, 1-2yr old one.

I really love white cars though, I've got a vectra st that has white wheels aswell and looks mint.

I will be more specific with my next skoda purchase, I know about and want alot more extras. So that will narrow the field a bit

Wife has a white car - I think it looks great.

Wife's uncle has a white Octavia - again, great.

If I do pull off a new car - I'll get a white one.

Was in the paper this week, white has the highest residual of any colour.

My last vRS was one of the first so it felt special and i liked it but now they are ten a penny and wish I'd replaced it with black instead.

You'll be surprised at what rules councils invent that under challenge and scrutiny they aren't able to enforce.

Funnily enough, local taxi's here are all white too. I used one once and the driver said that he'd love the Amethyst Purple but obviously couldn't have it because of the restriction from the council. However, he did say that he'd buy the purple next time and get the car vinyl wrapped instead.

Wonder if that counts... :D

Nothing wrong with that. I like exclusivity....

Yes, it is. White is very very common these last few years.

White is definitely the colour of the moment. I used to hate it but I've come to quite like it.

I'm sure there will be a switch soon to something else. Probably back to silver. Maybe turd brown. I've seen quite a few otherwise nice cars in metallic turd.

Hope it isn't that godawful baby sick colour that the new Focus (and BMW M3) comes in.

I quite like bright colours and interesting shades of metallic, some colours are more sickly than others!

A recent study show that buyers will be moving towards "flesh" toned silvers, with a warm feel to them, greens, and earthy colours. This will be because people are going to be more conscious about the environment and things like that.

Electric blue, green, yellow, orange hues are a sign of modern vibes with technology etc...

Black will always be a classic colour, along with deep reds, and blues.

I do however feel that white is common, but thats probably because it looks so clean, and sterile. It shows a good contrast to the cars graphics etc... I've never really loved silver for the fact that it was a shade, and not really something that had any personality to it. Even if the car was brilliant, it lacked some sort of soul.

White must be classed as very popular especially with Vx as they charge £100 on top for the solid colour!!

£100!? Thats just as crazy as Skoda charging £400 for Yellow!

I feel all solid colours should be free of charge to be honest!

Ford charge £200 for Solid White nowadays.

Never tried to paint a car with yellow paint then?. Its not an easy colour to spray as its quite transparent.

Can't say I've had the opportunity no! :) I can see your point, would that be the same as white then?
