Can anyone confirm that Skoda citigo badge fit to Skoda Superb I(no facelift)?

I know that they fit on new Superbs(II) but I m not sure if they will fit on older..

I have just fitted some and will put some pics on later to show the fit.

The answer is yes - I got the flat ones.

Yea' pretty good mod.

Oh yes, I allmost forget again, did you have trouble to "take out" old ones, especcialy on the hood?

How did you do that?

I know it can be done on force and brake old one, but I would like to save it for...hmmm I dont know maybe future use.

Use a suitable flat blade screw driver and a micro fiber cloth so that you don't damage the paint. My original badges got knackered but then they had aged badly and were only good for the bid. The front one is fitted with studs but the rear is just stuck on. You could on that one use a hari drier and some dental floss to get it off.

The new ones also come with studs on (in the wrong places for the superb) but they snap off real easy.

I've ordered the bonnet and rear badges along with centre caps in black and chrome for my Superb Edition 100 (it's black with chrome trims....) I'll update this thread with pics once fitted.

Well i sugest you to change it..

It is pretty chip, and it look fantastic.

Small amount off money, and big smile on face. :blush::rock:

Well, I did it. It looks fantastic! I used these part numbers:

5JA 601 151 ULM for the wheel centre caps. They are a tight fit!

1ST 853 630 A AUL and 1ST 853 601 A AUL for the bonnet/boot badges.

I'll post pics up once she's cleaned :)

Cost me just over 50 quid all in from TPS.

Gutted though as I bought new (old-style) badges only a couple of months ago - they were so badly bubbled.

Here you go, as promised now she's washed:

Slightly better quality albeit form my Phone camera :)

I *think* the centre caps are 53mm, though I'm not 100% sure. I can't remove the caps without removing the wheel I'm afraid, and I'm not doing that at the moment.....

  • Author

Tnx for pictures 53mm saddly small for my rims...what a hack, keep roling Audi :giggle:

Nice Superb,man :happy::hi:

I thought they'd look good on your car - and they do! :thumbup:

My badges are in good nick, so I'll leave them for now (gotta see whether I've still got a job next month first :sweat: )

How tight a fit are the wheel centres? Just wondering about them getting removed by those careful tyrefitter guys...

Edited by sidewaze samm

They're fairly tight, but if the wheel is off and the cap pushed from inside it will pop off ok.

  • 2 weeks later...

This is how I changed the wheel centre badge [5JA 601 151 ULM] (if you don't want to keep the old one):

1, Hammered old screwdriver through existing badge to allow me to lever it off the wheel;

2. Rubbed some washing-up liquid around the edge of the hole;

3. Set new badge in kitchen sink, face down, and poured a full kettle of boiling water over it;

4. With cloth quickly set new badge in position on wheel and pushed.

The new badge went in without any bother; the boiling water had softened the edge rim of the badge sufficiently to allow an easy fit.

Hope this helps someone.
