DPF location on Mk II Skoda Superb?

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI PD 140bhp. I was just curious as to where the DPF location is on it. Is it next to the turbo or is it a bodge job like it was on the Mk I Skoda Superb with the PD engines. Also, do I need to top it up with an additive?

Thanks

I'm guessing that you have the BMP engine (it's either BKD or BMP and the BKD is 6 years old now).

The DPF is right next to the turbo and is a regeneration type. You don't need to add urea to a tank anywhere. Just drive on the freeway for 15 mins weekly or so and you'll be fine.

Labelled as item 7 on this diagram.

Hi, wokwon thanks for the reply. How can i tell if i have the BMP engine (aside from the fact that the BKD is 6 years old)? Good diagram btw

Sticker in your spare wheel well will have your engine code. There may be a duplicate of the sticker in your owners manual too.
