Ive got the chance of some lovely alloys for my mk 1 Fabia VRS. The wheels are 8j with an offset of 25 and tyres 195 45 16. I just thought I'd ask about the offset before I commit to buying them. Any help would be great!

i run 8.5j et 25 on my rears.with 195/40/17. .nicely poked and stretched . .

you wouldent have quite as much stretch with the 16s coz sidewalls are slightly bigger. .but they should still sit inside the arches.

might be very pokey up front with et25s tho.

best way to work it out is get lots of measuring done. haha. . .i spent about a month measuring and calculating to get my rears how i wanted em.

i think you'll be able to do it. . i know loads of people have run fabs on 8inch wide merc wheels with adaptors which makes em have a low et and still been fine :-D

Cool. At the end of the day, if they don't fit, I can ways sell them on again. Lol, I can't tell you what they are, as someone else may find them and beat me to it. I'll report back tomorrow hopefully once I've given a deposit for them.

All I can say at the moment is that they don't come up for sale too often
