What do people reckon an Octy Rs 04 plate with 20k on the clock should go for? Cheapest i can find new is 12999 at motorpoint (will that already be listed with 1 owner though?). Seems a while back there were better deals. :(

Prices seem to be all over the place with these from what ive seen

was looking for an 04 with less milage and they are anyware from 11.5k

up to 13k :eek:

still on the lookout for one aswell

think i might end up getting a later 03 one

Be aware that Motorpoint generally sells Irish import RS'.

These usually had a different spec to UK RS' e.g 16'' alloys, interior arms rest, a/c as opposed to c/c (I think).

Check out the Skoda Uk site for ones within the network..you can be sure these are UK spec then.

Ahh I did wonder if there was a catch. Skoda dealers seem to be quite wishful on some of their prices from what ive seen. I guess prices will fall when the new rs arrives eventually. Must admit I wouldnt have one in the yellow, but still prefer it to the red (each to their own ) That one i mentoned is 11k. Still think thats a little over the odds really. (maybe ill get an MG ZT instead!)

dont think that is unrealistic

seen a few silver ones that fall into this but all miles away

did see an 04 red 8000 miles for about 11 kicking myself didnt go and look at it sooner is its gone now

I have seen this mentioned about motorpoint selling Irish Import vRS's on numerous occasions. I pop into motorpoint (Derby) on a regular basis, as it across the road from where I work, and I have never seen an Octy vRS with that spec.

I bought mine from there at Christmas is is full UK spec with ESP and rear parking sensors which would cost another

Well a new one seems to be coming in at a min of 13k without looking into it too deeply. (not all the extras etc) Judging by the prices currently advertised on skoda.co.uk for trade-ins/ex-demos id say their unliekly to beat that. Thing is that even 11k is stretching it a bit to be honest.

I went to get a second hand one. The best I found was 3 years old with 60K on for 8K, so when they offered me a new one for 13K I bit their hand off.

The saleman saw me looking at one, he asked me how I knew about the octavia Vrs, so I told him. He said "well you obviously dont need me to say any more" he gave me the keys to a 2nd hand one and said "take it and show your Mrs for the day, if you want one I can do a new one for 13k"

and that was that.

GTTIM - I have an August 2003 VRS in Black with 28K on the clock - with Cruise and Parking Sensors. Oh, and it has had a visit to our friends at Jabba and is putting out a cool 229bhp! Will be imminently getting a car through my work so it is going to be for sale very soon...... The car is mint (other than a slight scuff on front bumper from me catching a kerb - doh!)

Fraid it must be black. And really must be standard to be honest. My insurance wont insure me on a remap. And im not paying to quit them early so im with Elephant until at least october. Couldnt really give a monkeys about esp. If you cant drive properly without that you shouldnt even bother.
