uprated clutch

Featured Replies

hi all i read an artical the other day about swapping duel mass flywheels to single mass. The artical said that it can cause more stress on other parts of the engine and said that people have had problems with things like cambelts since swapping admittedly they were talking about desiel cars but i woundered if it would cause any problems on a turbo petrol. Has any one had any problems since swapping ?? I was going to go for a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel but since reading that i am not to sure.

I have the g60/vr6 conversion on my mk1 octy vrs and am more than happy with it. The peddle feel is so much better and feels a little bit faster through the revs with the lighter flywheel.

The car gets used daily and pushed hard regular all with no ill effects.

I found this to be more than helpful
