Hi guys, just bought an 07 reg 1.2 htp estate. It's badged classic but must be a run out model as it's got lots of non classic stuff in it.

My questions are..... Matt Bodycome says there are 2 different engines 64hp single cam & 70hp twin cam. How do I know what mine is? Also, as the lights are rubbish I was gonna fit a Zenon kit like I did with my vRS Octy. The suppliers list the kits as being different fron 06 as the later ones have a different can-bus apparrently. My thoughts were to get a pre 07 one as surely it must be the Mk2 Fabias that are different?

Also is there a how to guide for getting the rear bumper off as I need to fit rear parking sensors too.

AFAIK the 1.2 engines in the Mk1 Fabia are either 54bhp 6-valve single cam, or 64bhp 12-valve dual cam. Engine codes are AWY or BMD(?) for 6v; AZQ or BME for 12v.

The 12v has an airbox that is combined with an engine cover and has a grey/silver insert in the middle proclaiming it to be 12v, I think the 6v engines have a separate more 'box-like' airbox behind the battery, but I'm not sure about that.
