Engine grunt through the clutch on a brand new yeti

Featured Replies

I can feel the engine grunt when my foot is on the clutch pedal, its there when the car is at rest or on the move(even more while on the move as the engine revvs) and i can 'feel' a lot of vibration but it does not really rattle.

This was there in the car i did TD in, its there in my car from minute one.

Its not causing any problems at all but its still bothering me.

I thought it was normal, but is it?

Mine is a 4x4 elegance 140 TDi CR

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by "the engine grunt".

Clutch judder, clutch vibration, clutch rumble, all in synchronisation with the engine. Like when the engine goes grgrgrgrgrgr i can feel those vibrations on the clutch pedal.

Normal on a diesel......more of a thrum
