Everything seems to go wrong in pairs?

Featured Replies

Is it just me or does this happen to others too?

One thing goes wrong with the car and as soon as you fix it or check it something else goes, back shocks went, took the wheels off to check and prepare the job noticed I also needed two tyres, slash on the inner side wall on one and a dodgy repair on the other.

Had a knocking noise from front, replaced drop links and then found out the ARB were gubbed too, luckily they were cheap to buy, just a pig to do.

Lived with a slightly warped front brake disc for about six, seven weeks while I saved for a drilled and grooved set plus new brake pads.

Started to do the job, took the wheels off, just happened to notice a little more wear than was right on the O/S inner. Further inspection also showed that the N/S tyre was wearing not quite right too, either I had a Rack problem or the tracking was toeing out. Being financially embarrassed after buying new discs and pads I was left with no option but to buy cheap and cheerful tyres and fortunately, as it turned out, only needed to get the tracking done. (Swmbo was not amused at me robbing the bank to pay for it, despite it being to stay both safe and legal).

BUG***! I'm beginning to think that someone up there doesn't like me.

Oh well, at least it's running and stopping straight and true now.

i had loads of things go wrong with mine was thinking the same thing! it just happens unfortunately.

your tracking could have possibly been put out when doing the ARB its possible

Don't worry all will be good in the end!

my mate had the same thing and then every time i say to my mate i haven't had to work on your car in a while, with in a week something goes wrong and thats happened 3 times now! or if i say im surprised this hasn't gone wrong with your car because its common next thing i know it goes wrong... we now dont say anything about his car just in case it goes wrong! hahaha :)

all just a very strange coincidence unfortunately! :(
