Alloy refurb colour

Featured Replies

Hi All

Winter is drawing in and winter steels will be going on in a few month. I currently have white powder coated alloys on, im all up for keeping them white as they look amazing when clean and suit the race blue right to the ground but with the colour white and brake dust been black, yeah they need cleaning once every 3 miles.

Anyone else got any other colour ideas?

NOT Anthracite!

This has to be the most tasteless attempt to colouring alloys since silver, it was cool then went uncool very quickly in my opinion.

Yellow??

Though might be as much as a pain in the a$$ to keep clean as the white are. Also looks good on a Fabia vRS SE but not sure how it would look on an Octavia.

Image demonstrating how low mine is to OEM and it does suit the after market alloys, was not keen on keeping the original alloys on

Looking at this picture again im sure the car park looks slightly sloped on the drivers side of my car, looks broken!

I think a bronze could be nice

Matt Grey?

Brimma would love this....

gold!

Failing that either something striking like bright red or yellow or just plain old black?

NOT Anthracite! or Black !

Black chrome, although that may be too close to anthracite which you don't want.

Holy **** Ema, I know you said your vRS smoked a little since you had the DPF removed but I've never seen so much soot up the back of a car above the exhaust!

You should drive behind me when i boot it, i disappear in a cloud of my own carbon!.

Driving on a motorway in Germany, 5 series BMW behind and pushing forward, dropped it into 4th and just smogged him, best thing is though since the tail pipes are straight the fumes just shoot straight out the back and pick up turbulence from the flatboot and get flicked up about 10ft in the air, on a still day it will just hang in the air :D

Red looks good, how about Black and Gold?
