My incar charger for my phone has broken and now there is abit of metal and plastic stuck inside the 12v cigaret socket. If i touch the metal against the side it sparks. How do i get it out? can i remove the fuse in the fuse box for the cigaret socket? will this stop it from sparking or with it make things worse??

Pull the fuse and then get it out. If you look in the handbook it tells you which fuse it is.

It is permanently live, you don't want it sparking away in the middle of the night and something worse happening

Either remove the fuse or disconnect the battery while you remove the metal
