Hello, My husband pete (group1rs) has been on here for ages with his mk1 octy and he bought me a Fabia vRS Se for when i past my test, so i thought i would make a little build thread.

Car was collected with the help of Gee (with the green wheeled beastie) picking pete up to go and get at the crack of dawn on Saturday. Car looked like this..

It took a matter of minutes when the car got home before it was up on the jack having these fitted..

Later that evening the car was taken to Rob @ W8 Performance for its Shark Remap!! What a massive difference that made.

This week, its been booked in with MPS Auto detailing. Monday to Thursday its getting the treatment inside and out! Leather treatment, inner arches removed, and all the swirls taken out of the paint. Im also having some toys fitted, touch screen head unit, Alarm and a load of other bits so it will be fully kitted!

I think I would have made the alloys my first priority too. Just out of interest, how do you remove the roof rack mounts?

just gently pull up on them and they come out mate.

no i have not crashed it! Alarm and stereo being fitted.

Little Alpine 8" slot ported powered sub. running of a Pioneer 4400bt double din head unit. sounds very loud!

little sub controller fitted in the cubby hole on the drivers side.

there is still loads to happen this week,

i blame Gee for the camera as he has one on his car!! haha!

detailing starts tomorrow i think once all the crawling around the car has finished.

Car has been detailed!! what a difference it makes. I thought it was clean before, Gee most definitely has some skills. Ill let the pics to the talking.

as you can see the car had swirling. I never even noticed it until it was gone..
