As for expensive golf steel wheels - tell me about it. Was on ebay yesterday, i couldnt believe how much they go for.

Try looking for secondhand 16" Audi alloys instead. There's a huge choice of wheels that will fit from older A4 and A6s, or the new shape A3 and TT and they tend to go for less than steel wheels in the same size.

Or buy my Skoda alloys when I list them on Sunday

3 sets of alloys for winters for sale within a week or so by the looks of it LOL

I can see just the one and not intending to spend £500 as I have tyres already!

I'm listing mine at the weekend when I get them off of the car and the current summer tyres removed.
