Yeti Urban - no VAT?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm looking at a 1.2 TSI Yeti Urban.

Has anyone got one of these with the "VAT-off" offer that Skoda UK are running? From what I gather it doesn't seem to include the Yeti.

If not are dealers negotiating? Ultimately I was close to buying a Fabia VRS, which is a fantastic deal if the VAT is knocked off, however I'm concerned that it's too small. If I could get hold of a Yeti Urban for a similar price, I'd be a happy man.

Cheers, Bobby

just looked on my local dealers site for no VAT, see below, but was told the deals change every 3 months, last change was july / aug so due a change shortly

All offers are worked on a quarterly basis, so bluecar is right that the 'offers' may change in October, but they may not. This tends to be the same with any finance offers as well.

Beadles site is slightly wrong though as the Fabia (inc vRS) and Roomster DSG are included in the VAT deal.

As for the Yeti it has never been on the deal and probably never will.

On the grounds that they can sell every Yeti they produce (and a few more) I can't see them introducing an incentive to buy more.

Not to mention that used prices are high, so people have more confidence paying out all that money for a Skoda. :)

If they did the Yeti VAT free 2nd hand prices would fall noticably and they'd have a lot of unhappy ex-customers.

may be worth speaking to lee at preston motors, if he can do you a good deal whats the cost of a day in london to collect :)

only thing is don't try modifying it to much or they will claim fitting a 1.8t into a citygo invalidate the engine warranty   ask bossfox :hi:
