New here

Have a Fabia VRS, 06 and last weekend the window regulator on the drivers door packed in.

Went to Eurocar parts yesterday, picked up new window reg and had it fitted by a local garage today.

Got home and.... the drivers door won't lock?!

Any ideas? WIndows all go up and down, led is flashing, the drivers pin doesn't move however.

Desp. need some help :(

Is it a case of the door not locking at all or just that the pin doesn't move?

The pin doesn't move and the door won't lock. All other doors lock etc, central locking works fine on the other doors. Can't manually lock the door either :(

Window regulator. Had to go back in and be taken apart , was

Something to do with the wire that attaches to the door pin getting caught when fitting the new regulator.

On the plus side it's the garages fault so I'd assume if you take it back they will sort it free of charge as mine did.

Thanks Kirk for the info, have dropped the car back in the garage this morning so will update the thread later when I find out what was going on.

If it wasn't for all the inconvenience, I wouldn't be bothered, I just expected them to get it right the first time :(
