I am actually annoyed with myself of how paranoid I became and how it can spoil the enjoyment of having such a fine machine to drive in! I sway more and more towards your stance where you simply do not read any threads with "oil" in them :D

That is the NUMBER 1 problem with this car. You cant just enjoy it, because at the back of your mind your expecting it to fail. Never been paranoid with any other car. This must be how renault drivers feel lol

I once driven Renault Modus or something - the most horrid experience ever. Rental place didn't have anything else ready :(

I have the funds now and buying raw materials - difficult to get the right alu at the right price :(

I have everything else to do a concept proving prototype.

Buy me a fmic and you can have my charge cooler....then youl be halfway there :D

Thanks for the offer but I would have no use for it :).

BTW, do you find your water charge cooler innefficient/worse than FMIC?

It doesnt heat soak as bad but then again there is a massive vent in my bonnet right above it so im guessing that helps

Also the whirring of the pump is a bit annoyying at times aswell, also its a bit of a pain having to move it to access the engine

The power output a acheviable from the engine is limited by the CC aswell, most people change to fmic once they reach about 320bhp

How much air (g/s or other units) at what temp and pressure is your engine sucking in at peak output?

Not sure tbh, im still waiting to get enough funds to buy some gauges for all that kind of data and i dont have an obd port to plug my reader into to use torque app to check
