New to Skoda

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I have become a Skoda owner having left a long history with a Vauxhall Astra SRi cdti and have to say going older has its pros and cons. I've lost loads of gadgets from my Astra and satisfaction of a younger car, but definately picked up a huge bucket of fun with the MK1 Octavia RS. So just wanted to say hi and had hopefully say hello again around the forums.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Welcome,

I had a Cavalier SRI & then a Vectra SRI, joined the forum as I'm now looking forward to getting my first Skoda in a couple of months.

See you around.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I had a Mk1 Astra GTE which was great fun.

Hello Steve,

Welcome to the site.

My cars in and around the 1960's/70's included a few Vauxhall Victor 101's and Vauxhall Victor VX/490 (twin carbs) and still be passed by the humble Austin Cooper or Ford Cortina. LOL

I'm moving from my last 2 cars being Vauxhall (admittedly just standard Corsa and Astra) to a VRS. I would consider another Vauxhall in a shot as it they have given many years of trouble free motoring to me, it's just that they're so bland these days.

Hello and welcome along Steve

Welcome, I have only 1 question, when wil you be upgrading to the MK II vRS
