Good job done there :D

looks good! very clean!

Hmm thats a nice job. I have always wondered why the door handles of the Fabia were never colour coded when the mirrors are

Look's great, not so sure it would look as good on mine -- black trims on black car... :)

That's one of the reasons I chose black, in fact.

Looks really good!! I have just bought the same colour and fancy having that done now!! Just out of interest did you just get the existing trims sprayed or are they new/third party colour coded ones?

If you got the original sprayed, how much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

They sprayed the trim on the car - without removing it.

The bumper trims are clipped on and it is better to remove the bumpers to get them off.

The side trims are stuck on with double sided stick - and these are difficult to remove and put back on.

For the above reasons myself and the sprayer decided to leave the trims on and spray them in-situ.

The original trims have a textured finish - but I decided to have them smoothed flat before spraying.

The results are very good

Hi Steve,

looking good.

How you getting on with the remap?

Cheers.

Hi Adrian

Remap is great - except getting small overboost problems on light throttle - especially when the engine is cold.

You can hear and feel the dump valve releasing pressure at around 3000 rpm

On full throttle it is fantastic - especially 2nd & 3rd gear.

I will need to contact Mike to let him tweak out the overboost problem.

How is yours going?

Steve

Yep, same slight overboost problem off throttle was smoothed out yesterday. Have slight overboost problem when accelerating around 3k; slightly reduced yesterday; can be smoothed out more but I quite like the "thrust" so will live with what I got.

Also had a Bailey DV fitted.

I think there's been about 4 of us who've had the overboost "probleM" around 3k.

Sorry to everyone lese as this isn't really to do with styling is it?;)

i have the same overboost at 3k... good isnt it!:D

What's 'overboost'? What happens if you get this? Just curious...

Not sure of all the correct terms but I view it like this.

Overboost is when the turbo is made to spin at a level greater than is normally used. So I suppose if normal boost on a remap is 1.2 then overboost would be 1.4 for example.

If we were looking at a power curve you would see a "spike" around 3k and then see it drop a little.

Like I said don't if this is technically corect but I think you may get the drift.

I have quite a lot of overboost as my engine is lazy and needs a good kick to get going.

Cheers.

Adrian.
