Hi guys, in the post I diy my wheels on a previous car, with Halfords paint and results were poor sure to the paint add prep was good.

Has anyone.done it and used upol paint to spray standard wheels if so how is and our and are they robust for a spray? I know power choosing will be better.

i used halfords spray paint, primer and laquer and they were still going strong after 3 years, prep it right, 3 good coats of each and they will be fine! Me and my mate painted a car with aerosols and it turned out great!

Preparation is key!

Halfords do a wheel repair kit.

It's got all you need to sort scuffs, kerb dings etc and the paint is a very good match to most alloys.

Easy to use and if you need to, the paint will take clear lacquer to makes 'em glossy
