Contacting Skoda UK

Featured Replies

Hidy Peeps

Could someone be kind enough to tell me how and who do I contact at Skoda UK (email would be good). It's regarding my ARB's the bushes were changed 8 months ago and the squeeky creaking has come back. The dealer that changed them no longer has a Skoda franchise and my new dealer couldn't give a monkeys over the problem. I would have thought that the repair would come with a 12 month warranty so now I will approach Skoda directly. I have tried looking through Briskoda but when you put Skoda UK in the search box it seems to bring up every thread ever written. Thanking you in advance

George

their email should be on the corporate website.

even if he gets an automated acknowledgement today, in my experience, if the system actually accepts the emails, it will be at least three days, and on average 4-5 days before he gets an answer to the actual question he asked

then there is a 50% change of the answer being wrong !

(based on 4 queries to skoda over 18 months)

I wouldn't hold my breath, from previous experience a part changed under warranty does come with a warranty unless still inside the cars original warranty period  I thought it was ridiculas eg a switch goes 2 days before warranty is up, replaced under warranty, goes again 2 days after warranty expires, technically Skoda don't cover it.... Well thats what I was told.

You probably won't have to send one as they are on here all the time(Big Brother)anyway so they'll contact you!!!!!

The subtlety here is that if you pay for parts then you get a 12 month warranty on them - or 24 months if purchased from an Audi dealer.

Sorry I assumed that they were replaced originally under the cars warranty period.

GAFF you assumed correctly, Bushes were replaced under the Skoda Warranty. I think what Denis was saying is that if I paid for the bushes I would get a warranty but as Skoda paid for them I won't. Regarding the Sweep Stake, I was contacted straight away with an automated email. But I am still waiting to hear from a real person, 2 days and counting.
