Did anyone get 3 years free servicing with their Blackline?

Featured Replies

He blamed Skoda for not making it clear, pffft.

I don't know why Skoda bother with their training for the dealers, they should just let them browse Briskoda for a few hours :giggle:

I'm guessing that you'll need to ensure the dealer sets the service intervals to fixed on delivery, otherwise you won't get your three free services within the three year limit.

The fourth service at 40,000 miles (or fourth year) will be paid for by you and you can then request that it is set to variable servicing.

My query stemmed from the fact that most dealers aren't even capable of removing the suspension chocks before handing over the keys so what is the chance they'll change the service interval from variable to fixed?

Most people won't realise until the car prompts you for a service, by which time it will be too late to get in all three free services.

I'm sure if you complain to Skoda that the dealer didn't set the service interval to fixed then they'd help out by extending the servicing deal, you'd hope!

Oh we'll another thing to add to my growing list, i will be making sure the dealer sets mine to fixed servicing as I only do 4.5 k a year.

Blair, Being a customer of this branch also and since buying mine (from recommendation from yourself) and then getting them a further two deals (all New Car, 1 my mum, 1 a briskoda member) within 5 weeks off my order I would politely go back to them and say

A. The amount of cars you personally have bought

B. The amount of cars you have influenced

C. The poor customer service and lack of knowledge on their promotional products

D. Highlight your disappointment in the overall experience this time round

Highlighting this may make them think twice as they are a relatively small local dealer and should appreciate return custom.

I was actually thinking of penning a letter to Mr Ingram himself, once I get my car. Just to highlight my own personal belief that the whle buying experience will not make me go back again
