Columbus/SGS3 BT Connection

Featured Replies

Finally my 24 month contract was up on my old Desire phone and so I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy III in the knowledge that with Android version 4.04 it would allow Rsap connections, well it does, but I have a couple of problems.

Firstly, my Superb is a 10 reg and so I can only connect my phone via Rsap. Initially it does connect just fine but after about 90-120 seconds the columbus will show a message saying something along the lines of "Bluetooth connection with phone not possible" but then within the next 20 seconds it reconnects and stays connected. I know that this is just a small problem as it does stay connected the second time, but would love it not to have the initial hiccup in the first place.

Secondly, the phonebook won't download? I have no contacts on the actual Sim and I would have thought that this is what would be the problem, but, the other phone I have used (Nokia 6300) didn't have the contacts on the Sim either but it downloaded the phonebook just fine. Also when taking a call from the wife yesterday her name displayed properly on the Columbus unit.

Any idea's or thoughts on how to solve these two minor but annoying problems would be great :-)

I can't help out with the bluetooth problem but if you delete your number from your wife's phone then she won't be able to contact you anymore! ;)
