Introducing me & my Felly

Featured Replies

Hi there,i'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce my me and my motor!

I've been a big fan of Felicia's since 2001 when i bought my first. I'm now on my 3rd (and best) and still love these cars like no other car i've owned. My current beastie is a 99 1.6 GLXi combi in met black. We've been together for 5 happy years. she's now covered nearly 100000 miles and as such has needed some tlc of late.

jobs done to date are a new clutch, ignition barrel & door locks as well as new front suspension legs. On the to do list are the treatment of slight rust on rear arches and a scratch where some plank keyed it!! :@ .Also the cambelt is due a change. Next wkend the pre winter waxoil will be applied....a chance to get up close 'n' personal with my felly!! (not in an odd way :giggle: )

Now for a question.....Are there any meetings for felly/Favorite owners in the South Bucks/Oxon/east Berks area? It would be fab to meet up with like minded felly fans...

i would like to meet up i am from beds and love the felicia too mine has had so much love spent on it even the slxi conversion

Hi ya & welcome to Brisky. Thanks for the info on your Felly & great to hear your passion coming through.

If the geographics worked out I'd be delighted to meet up but I'm sure you'll have other Felly owners closer to hand. Have fun

mine got keyed too only problem i have is i can't find a shop the match paint so its having to stay you will see it as soon as i can get her running ok

Welcome,

I guess a lot of people share your passion here, not surprising, since Felicia's are the best cars ever :) . I m driving my second now.

Have fun with yours!

Thanks for the welcome. Spent today applying the pre winter waxoyl ,after a very wet commute home along the M40 last night had blasted of the dirt from the underside so no need to pressure wash first. It's a good opportunity to check and clean the dirt & moisture traps prior to waxoyling. I'm happy to report that all seems well ansd aside from light rust on the rear arches all is ok. One of the many great things on the Felly is being able to access the box sections for rust prevention via those little rubber gromits...very useful.

Needing a good scrub now as despite ppe i still found waxoyl in my hair!
