VCDS (VAG-COM) HEX-USB+CAN Interface Package

Featured Replies

Bought it from Gendan about 4 weeks ago to diagnose a couple of faults on my Fabia but no longer needed now.

Need to free up funds for my remap/wheel refurb/exhaust.......

Works with VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda cars with the 16-pin diagnostic socket (i.e. almost all from 1995-2012+). Dead easy to use.

Paid £263 for it but selling for £230 inc Delivery

No interest? Am I pricing it too high?

Probably. But 12 hours isn't really long enough for people to make a decision and get back to you...

When you buy it new you get the support from Ross Tech which is not transferrable to another person.

The buyer of your cable will need to pay Ross Tech $99 to gain their support (assuming they want to). This should take c.£60+ off the original price.

Also, these tend to go for around £200-220 on eBay, but then you'll need to take into account their fees and PayPal's as well.

If you want £230 try eBay. I doubt that you will get more than £180 on here as people generally know a bit more about the set up with Ross Tech.

HTH

P.S.: I have VCDS so am not just looking for you to reduce the price so I can buy it.

Cheers for the reply.

I've not registered the device with Ross tech if that makes any difference? Still have all the paperwork that came with it also.

Mines wasnt registered with rosstech when i bought so i still get the support, unfortunately for you i paid £125 delivered! Was a year old when i got it!

that was a bargain

i have found as a rule of thumb if its nearly new its normally 2/3rds of cost that is asked

no offence to the OP but i can't see anyone giving that price, as said above £180 would be a good starting point imo

The guy i bought it from had it up for quite a while and im sure he started around £180 and lowered it then i got him down further!

i thought these auto register when you use them?

i thought these auto register when you use them?

Only if you buy direct from Ross Tech.

If you buy from a third party (e.g. Gendan) then you need to register seperately.

You can buy them brand new for £219 ;)
