Locking nuts

Featured Replies

Sat at work at the moment and just wondering, does the CR170 with standard alloy wheels have locking nuts?

I've only had mine a few weeks and have only just thought about this as I'm considering getting new tyres

for the front.

can you not pop out, if it's not too wet, and have a look? If it does, the removal tool should be in the tool box with the spare wheel.

I think all VRSs come with locking nuts.

I changed mine for some after arket McGards.

My vRS 125TDI doesn't have locking nuts.

Was rather confused by this!

Just had a look, yes locking. Unlock tool is there also.

Should I be expecting a wheel brace and a jack, as they are not there!?!?

Does the CR only have one cigarette lighter socket or is there an aux one hidden somewhere?? The one by the handbrake

doesn't work which is quite annoying, as I found out when I went to charge my phone this morning.

If you've got a spare I'd have expected a jack and brace.

Just the one lighter socket.

Going to phone the dealer to find out where my missing bits are!

One lighter socket is no good if I get a flat.

Why would it matter if you only have one aux socket and you get a flat?

Because the tire repair kit requires power from a charging socket.

Which you have, or am I missing something here?

There's an electronic (Audi badged) pump and a bottle of 'stuff', I guess you pump this into a flat

tyre to inflate/seal it.
