Mfsw?

Featured Replies

I've got an se yeti, I'm retro fitting hands free Bluetooth kit, but I would like to fit an octavia vrs ( perforated ) mfsw, but the only ones that have the phone controls are on the dsg ( with flappy paddles ). Does anyone know the part number for the correct steering wheel that I need? Btw my car is a manual. Any input would be most welcome..... Cheers mat

I have retro fitted a MFSW to my Octy vRS FL & non dsg, I would suggest a search around as there are lots of Posts on this.

Would recommend you check the steering wheel controller part number as you may or may not need a new one for the wheel controls to work, also, I got my replacement wheel from a Skoda parts independant supplier in the czech republic via the net ( as used by another Brisky member so you should find the site in a MFSW thread), it was around £60 cheaper than buying in the UK even with postage,

The controller unit i got from the UK.- can dig out the supplier if needed.

It then needed some VAGCOM work to get the buttons to work - only 4 of the 6 currently work, hopefully buy sunday will have all 6 working courtesy of another member.

Hope this is a good starter for you.

This has been covered a few times in the past.

A good old Google search come up the the following:

fireblade - I have tried PM'ing you regarding this, but I suspect that your message box is full as it keeps rejecting it.

Can you check and clear some space as I might have some good news for you...
