Can anyone tell me which size Piper exhaust system would be most suitable for a mk1 fabia vrs:

I'm slightly confused...Do the different sizes listed refer to the pipe diameter or the actual diameter of the backbox tip? :S

I would like to get a system with the tip on the right (inwardly rolled not the oval, I I've seen the oval on fabis and they look a lil too big imo)

I've used them before yes mate. I don't have a Piper system but I was going to buy one! I had the offer of a Mufflerectomy cheap so went for that but I think I'd prefer a Piper system!

Ah right I see. There arnt any differences in the exhaust fitments with mk1s is there. i.e. they list only for 2000-2007 fabia. But that still includes mk1 fabs doesnt it?

ps - did you see much of a difference with the Mufflerectomy??

Mk1 Fabia is 2000-2007 mate. Well it's the VRS one you want

I think it spooled up a bit better and sounded a lot better, doesn't sound like a diesel at all when your on your way, very pleased with mine!

Hmm got me thinking about getting this done instead of a piper system. Have you got any pics of yours done? Also did you just get a straight through pipe welded on or did you get an s/s backbox fitted?

Also, is it much louder than stock on long journeys/motorways?

That's the only pic I have. Basically replace the back box with 2.5 inch straight pipe.

You can't really hear it tbhate unless you put your foot down. It's a lot quieter than my old cammed fiesta which was 111 db lol!

It was a no brainier for me since this cost £70 while a piper cat back was £190 odd.

I do kind of wish now though that I'd gone for a de-cat with a small silencer in there
