Wow thats mega oldskool bud.. modern cars don't need any tappets etc adjusting.. that goes for any car less than 20 years old if im not mistaken..

I think the Felicia 1.3 did (incl mpi), but the Fabia 1.4 8v mpi (based on same engine) did not. That's an old engine design though.

The one benefit they did have though was a cam chain. The VRS will have a cambelt, and that is something that will benefit from being replaced as specified in the service manual thingy.
