Corona Ring/Angel Eyes on Superb

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Its been a long time. I have a Superb II 2010 model 1.8 TSI.

It has Xenon/ HID headlamps and DRL's but I would like to go for those Corona ring type DRL's found in BMW's. I know a local guy who does his job neat and well. But I was thinking , would it be appropriate to give the electrical connection to the DRLs from the Fog Lamp OE DRL's and would it be appropriate to open the headlamp and re-seal it again. I live in a rainy area with heavy downpours and would not like it if my headlamp's life and longevity is compromised by doing this.

Awaiting your thoughts and suggestions.

P.S. I'm not concerned about the warranty of the headlamp unit itself but at the same time I want to sure that my headlamps would be safe after opening it once and then re-sealing it.
