Black on White or White on White...

Ok, I don't venture in here often but I am getting some wheels :D

They are black, my car is white...I've played in photochop and they look ok.

Two people have said in the past that black on white rock! But so do white, then somebody said antrachite (sp or grey)

So what do you reckon,

Black on white...?do=thumb&id=37

So if anybody wants to photchop black or anthracite onto that pic to convince me beofre I drop these wheels off at the spray shop ;)

The wheel pattern is almost identical :D

I have been contemplating this also and sorry to hijack the thread but what do people think of my furby wheels painted white??? ( i have a black furby vrs) and also colid....reckon there might be a chance of a discoutn if we both get them done? How much have you been quoted?

Sorry so many questions.... i was planning a thread very similar today! beat me to the punch!

White on white. True rally slag style. Nothing sweeter than a large set of comp mo's in white on a wrc stickered white car. Spray a wheel up to test and see what it looks like before paying someone to do it proffessionally

Black look like steel rims esp in motion imo.

Not been quoted much, but how much can some wet and dry + spray be from halfords...

j/k

They are black (gloss), no harm in trying them I guess...white oz comp's would be sweet on some 18's 235...just have to wait for the ticket to win first...these are close in a way on 17's.

I know a lot of people think black wheels look awful but I really like them.

If I'm honest I'm not entirely sure they'd look right on the white Octy, so I'd be interested to see what the photoshopped result would be like.

In mixed minds myself. Black will hide the dirt more :D

I'm going to say "NO"....I think there will be too much of a contrast.

A "smoke" colour would be good...anthracite I hear you say? ;):D

What about black wheels on a black car?

White wheels, white car!

I am planning Anthracite wheels on my Black Furby... Still in two minds about it though :o

However I think White for yours Colin

I am planning Anthracite wheels

much difference between them and black wheels? I'm just thinking which one I won't have to clean. As the standard ones look a mess after a day.

what about black and white, either black on the front/back or white on the back/front or even on opposite corners, maybe you could have the zebra style?

:)

hey thats not a bad idea :D

Or half white half black...if I'm spraying I might play with that idea...would have to be on one side I think :D

White on left black on right ;)

White on left black on right ;)

Think it'll look better white on right/black on left :D

I'm worried about where this thread is going.... how about pink? Just kidding.

Black wheels on white.... the jury is out TBH.

I'm worried about where this thread is going.

I think black wheels would look nice.

I had white wheels on my old jeep, problem was they were yellow everyday except the one you washed them on :o

how bout these? :)

4392.attach

looking at those has just reminded me

how about diamond cutting the wheels after getting them anthrlite coated

remember seeing this on another car and they look soooooo mint

im so going to have to look into this now myself

wonder i i can fit it to a lathe at work :o

Black/Anthracite

White/White

The only way to go ;)
