Anyone?

I purchased Superpro 19mm FARB bushes for my car and they were the correct size. But I'm sure somewhere I read they can differ.

Yes - I've just had a look at them on Ebay and I have no idea which ones to buy, 16,18 and 19mm??

I've been told by Damien at dpm performance he says usually 19mm, Damien said check at your local skoda dealer to makes sure

Mine were the 19mm powerflex arb bush.... Mechanic didn't say anything after fitting so assume was the correct size!

I'm just going to buy the 19mm

i recently bought origanls and size was 20mm dia on 06 plate, might help you.

I bought 16 mm for mine as I had some wear on the ARB and wanted them to be tight again. Absolute C yoU Next Tuesday of a job to do but worth it in the end. The standard ones for my car should have been the 19 mm type.

Coffin Dodger,

thats right they are a nightmare to do, first time,

how is there different diameters for the same model of car, mad.

19mm defo

Easy way to check I believe, get a spanner of that size and put it on the ARB. Obviously try all three and best fit is the size :)

Hi all

Mine is a 2005 model year vRS and when I decided to replace the A/R bar bushes I used a micrometer to get the bar diameter. This came in at 20.6 mm or there abouts - bit of corrosion!!

So imagine my surprise when the guy in GSF car parts said that according to EKTA my car used 18mm diameter bushes (GSF part number 429VG0140) .Their O/E part number matched the part number on the old bush when I took them off.

Fitted them (getting the saddle clamps back onto the new bushes was a pig!!) and the car has been fine since.

Previously when I contacted Powerflex for the 'correct' size for my car they said 19mm was the correct size for a polyurethane bush ?!!

You takes your pick!!

Found today the parts diagram used by GSF car parts when I asked them to supply 2 rubber anti-roll bar bushes for my car.

I'd remind you that the following information is for a 2005 MY vRS with the original anti-roll bar with plastic stops!! :

The anti-roll bar O/E part number is 6Q0 411 305 AC it measures 20mm in diameter and was marked when new with green paint.

The O/E part number for the bushes was 6Q0 411 314 N and their internal diameter is 18mm.

I've had no issues since fitting the new ones although I did have to fit 2 stainless steel Mikalor clamps to the bar to act as lateral stops as the original plastic ones had split.

P.S. The bushes were replaced as I was experiencing knocking at the front end which turned out to be a sound looking but in fact 'knackered' drop link!!

how come up to 4 different size arb for the same car, sounds like we have all managed to get the parts and had fun fitting them, hope they last for a long time. lol.
