Eejit - so Jenson was never following him in the first place!

But then this is just what his "celebrity pop star cum sports star management" company want - free publicity. I really used to like Hamilton in the early days - very raw and honest talent, brought up through the McLaren ranks trying to emulate his idol. But since winning the championship, he's gone very much downhill turning into a spoilt little brat, complaining about things when they don't go his way.

He could start a new team with Kevin Pietersen and Cashley Cole

No. He lost it 3(?) years ago when he dumped his dad as his manager. Biggest mistake he will ever make.

It so happens I do now Anthony personally and I was never surprised when Lewis dumped him as his manager. Paul di Resta and others did the same...

However, you are right, the time his dad was managing him (that is in every possible way!) LH was unbeatable as he had a singular mind.

Now he thinks about "challenges" (turning Merc around) and money, driving is rather secondary sadly. Oh, twe(a)ting as well :cocktail:

Now you mention it - Lewis is a bit like Ashley Cole - started off as just a pretty talented footballer but once the "celebrity" status hit, turned into a complete ****

He must have too much spare time on his hands for these Tweats, I really like Hamilton, but is getting harder each race by his of track antics, felt for Massa with his honest interview post race

I agree he is a twonk but this twonk is licking the strawberries and cream of nicols bumps mmmmm cream :D

Another reason why Social Networking is such a stupid idea.

It makes me wonder what idiot will join Twitter next. Oh.... wait...

Poor David try anything for votes lol

Its not twitter thats the issue. I`v been following a few teams/drivers over the past year on there, pretty interesting stuff posted, from team garages to Button`s fit Mrs. The problem is Lewis and being obsessed with fame/being a celeb/looking cool. If he spent more time talking about racing and less trying to be hip and talking like will.i.am then he would be heading in the right direction. I think he is dropping the ball big time, I mean, even IF button had "unfollowed" him, would tweeting about it to his million fans like than be a clever idea? Of course not! Seriously dropping in my estimations tbh.

No problem with being celebrity, enjoying fame etc... Problem is to be able to pull it off with class, effortless, without making a **** of yourself.

Wanna role model? James Hunt comes to mind:).

He clearly wants to be cool, but is making himself look a right berk.

Sad day for F1 when being cool is more important than being a good driver and racer.

Exactly. The thing his, his a F1 driver! That normally means your cool by default

This is probably the reason Kimi doesn't use Twitter. Imagine the stuff he'd come out with. He'd make Lewis look like an amateur. I have no problem with drivers using Twitter as it means that they are human. The majority of Nico Rosbergs tweets are through the webteam. I'm all for him being himself but he's being a bit of a spanner lately. Jenson even said he's never followed him on Twitter so Lewis has believed Twitter rumor over his current team mate. That's quite worrying.

I said when he was thinking of the move that he's the next Jacques Villeneuve. That is if he fails to win another WDC and if he doesn't win at least one in the next 3 years then he's stuffed up. Hell Mercedes used to be BAR the team Villeneuve moved to.

That's why Kimi is epic :D

It's Kimi's first time to Korea so never driven the track. He was asked how he learns a new track simply answering "I drive it". He says he never uses sims and the 3-4 hours you get before the race will be more than enough. Straight to the point, still himself and doesn't take crap but he's not stupid either. Lewis needs to realise that if he says something there is a way of saying in and that if it's even slightly controversial the media and some really messed up F1 "Fans" will rip into it.

Given the current issues regarding engines for 2014, and his desire to win another WDC, Lewis could find himself leaving the sport altogether and going somewhere like Champ Car or Indy Car (at least he'll be closer to his GF!)

Only Mercedes, Renault and Ferrari have started development on the new turbo'd engines for 2014 - Cosworth has gone quiet about it's plans and PURE has suspended it's operations. However many of the teams are thought to be nervous about the changes especially the thought of any potential cost increases in developing the new engines and don't want to return to the heady days when costs spirralled out of control. Both Christain Horner and Monisha Kaltenborn (Sauber) have openly voiced their concerns.

If the issue of costs isn't sorted then I can't see the new engines coming in at all and the F1 circus will remain with V8s - that may also scupper any plans by Mercedes to develop a "super new car" for Lewis, in the same way that Brawn did with the new car for Button, getting the jump on everyone else. I suspect that's what he is thinking at the minute.

It's typical Bernie stirring up the $hite... I see absolutely no reason why 4 or 6 pot turbo'ed power plants should not be introduced really. I'd prefer 4-pot tech as this is much closer to the mainstream motoring. LH had an earful of Nikki's "advice" to the tune of how good for LH wit would be if he managed to success where The Great Shumi failed and as written above perhaps there is that hope for Ross to magic up a similar miracle as their BAR car...?

Lewis Hamilton is turning into a total diva. Everyone said he would destroy button yet button outperformed him last season. He simply isnt as good as he thinks he is. Alonso is a better driver imo. If rosberg matches or beats him next season then thats it, his reputation is ruined. The only true measure of a driver is against your teammate in the same car. Hamilton as failed to show he is better than button. Button has been unlicky this year but he is a far more rounded driver and a better package for a team i think as you know what you are going to get from him each week. Who knows which Hamilton will turn up at each race his performances vary according to whats happening in his personal life which is not very proffesional if you ask me especially when they get paid so much money for it.

Lewis Hamilton is turning into a total diva.

I now have this image of LH turning into Diahann Carroll when he's hungry!

Once a **** always a ****, and he's doing his best to prove it.
