Yes the same

Unless it's a base model, without the DE module 'eyeball', which has a single H4 for both low and high beam in each lamp housing.

What is a DE module? I havent received my car yet so i cant really take a look under the hood :)

Its a eye looking part of the headlight known a projector

Most of the fabia range has this set the exception being the S.

Also if im right the IRC S2000 uses the bog standard style units :)

Ah thanks for clearing that up. Then my car should have H7 :)

Now I'm confused - I have a Monte with the eyeball. Does that mean I have naff lights? If so, what do I do about it?> Fit Ice white bulbs or something?

I find the non 'eyeball' headlights on the Level 1 trim better with standard factory bulbs but we have noticeably improved our Elegance with the DE module by replacing the bog standard Osrams with their Nightbreaker + type.

As well as ebay, try powerbulbs.co.uk, they still give a discount for Freedom members, I just bought some Philips Xtreme's from them and got the discount, along with free sidelight bulbs

Probably lighter!

Are the stock headlights 35w or 55w or even more?

How high wattage do you dare to put into the headlights?

55w

I like to know if anyone has fitted Hids such as these,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Fabia-06-ULTRA-XENON-HID-CONVERSION-KIT-H7-35w-/270658372681?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f047f0449#ht_2513wt_982

Or these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-Canbus-Pro-Mid-Slim-HID-Conversion-kit-All-Colours-/370258289333?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item56351d22b5#ht_3319wt_982

I've always been left underwhelmed by 90/100+% brighter halogens previously , and would like to fit some Hids (like I had in my Beetle),now long winter nights are upon us!

Are there any canbus issues to consider?

Will the eBay bulbs above be fine?

This is for my Fabia VRS ,on a 61 plate.

I presume these will be for "off-road or show use only"? ;-)

They are illegal to use on the road for good reason......

Don't fit hids get h7 night breakers or Philips extreme and elevate the headlight ;) I've done this and the lights are then perfecto

You need 2 sets so four bulbs in total

I elevated my headlights last night, and blinded everyone on the road before i finally found a good place to adjust them..... Now there perfect

Using phillips extreme bulbs

Never been worried, or had any issues,in the past. But had them correctly aligned after fitting

However cars now tend to have canbus,& reading some Octavia threads since my earlier post,it maybe an uncertain choice!

Got any pictures ,or how to's with the height adjustment screw shown?

Did I see someone who had tried these? I'm after a decent bulb with a white hue

They seem quite cheap, any user reviews welcome

Unfortunalty not mate, its the greeny coulered allen socket screw on the top of the headlight unit, id suggest parking in front of a garage door when doing it so you can keep both side the same height

Makes a massive diffrence

Can some post a picture of the adjuster? How much are people turning them?

Some vRS come with an extra sidelight bulb sitting unused in beside the Fullbeam bulb,

& it would be good if it was easier to get it functioning.
