Citigo, Up, then Mii....

The up is called that - rather bizarely - because the UP concept followed in line with the IROC concept. Just that the IROC became the Scirocco but the UP didn't become the Lupo :(

However, I do like the look of this:

Yes that does look a lot better than the standard Up! but....... it will cost an arm and a leg to buy !

I can't really see it... Skoda has a vRS Fabia and Octavia, both were built for homologation purposes so they could go rallying in them. There's been no Superb vRS, Yeti vRS or Roomster vRS... not sure why they would start with the Citigo? VW had the Lupo GTI, so it's an easy link to see. It would be good for Skoda, but I can't see it happening.

I've been to my local VW dealer and have noted an expression of interest, they currently have zero information, but will get back to me as and when. The price will be the deciding factor for me, to be honest. The standard cars are really good, so as long as the price isn't OTT then the GT will be good.

This is VW you are talking about ! I guarantee the GTI will be an obscene price !

We're getting a Citigo Sport (as seen at the Paris Motorshow: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/251379-citigo-sport-from-february-2013/ ) but that will just have the standard engines. Looks nice though.

Of course, my first is the citigo, there is just something more classy looking about its front, and does look sporty. 2nd would be the up, however I think the front grill makes it look like a clowns mouth! I Definately feel it looks more teenager than the citigo and mii.

As for the mii though , agree with other comments on here, I instantly think of Nintendo! I test drove a mii, and it had a shiney dashboard, but also had this huge hideous sticker across its dash saying ''MII', which was peeling off in all corners. I thought it was just because it was a demonstrator that it had this, but when asking the sales man, it was an optional extra to have the internal sticker! Never seen something so naff and completely ruined the car, which I otherwise feel is a bit boring looking.
