URGENTT!

Featured Replies

Right i bought a skoda fabia 1.4 16v 100bhp in darkk green

and i want it too look better and be faster

does anyone have any tips for mee ?

Thanks Ash

chop it in for a vRS

If you want faster then you will need to spend a fair bit of money. It's not as simple as just a remap on an engine like that.

Also make sure you run it on premium fuel (97ron and above) otherwise the ECU won't give you the full 100bhp.

In terms of making it look better... get some pics up so we can see and suggest what could be done. Might look nice enough already!

Phil

Put a 1.8t (225bhp) BAM engine in it from an S3/TT. :D

Not cheap though.

LJP01 i would chopp it for a vrs but the insurancee would be stupid,

and phil i will do later just at work , its literally bog standard .

Ash

Faster than what? It's faster than a lot of things already.

Bicycle, pedal go-cart, walking, donkey etc :)

Making it look better is totally subjective too. Barry looks amazing to some, appalling to others....

Why is this URGENTT?

by 'Euroish' do you mean 'Dubbed'?

Why is this URGENTT?

my sentiments exactly

i want it to stand out,

and because its urgent because i need ideas to help me out

Well it was designed and built in Czech, which last time I looked was in Europe? So looks "Euroish" already surely?

Definitely doesn't look American.

Or....

do you mean this look?

That won't stand out....infact you'll blend in with the rest of the 'scene' and be the same as everyone else.

Instead....make it stand out by painting it day-glo orange :)

If you have deep pockets then you could aspire to this and gain 40hbp:

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/227645-what-a-weird-day/page__hl__abt%20fabia

ABT tuned Fabia 16V 100.

Probably not worth it though for the cost. 100bhp is still a decent ammount of power from a Fabia.

A remap will only gain you about 5hp and about 10ft/lb's of torque but may increase throttle response and smooth out the delivery.

Phil

Air suspension, spacers, 9j wheels and rolled arches?

Mk13012 I think his name has the same car but ta been tuned by ABT and is now 140bhp iirc, do some research.

Phil beat me to it!! Lol

Personally I hate cars that are modded so much on the outside.

A nice standard looking Fabia with some nice OEM alloys, lowered slightly, some LED number plate bulbs, LED interior bulbs, aero wipers, polo aero rear wiper, projector headlamps (no crappy 8,000,000K HID bulbs!) and some subtle tints in the rear windows and you should have a nice looking Fabia.

Go for basic bolt ons manifold, decat and intake and an tune to get the most out of it, I'd make a custom intake out of fiberglass etc if you're uni fit it.

I take it you don't want to spend loads of money?

Strip the car out then.

Cheapest way to make a car quicker.
