As per title, fitted 16" steelies & winter tyres this morning.

Fuel flap tells me pressures for 18s & 17s, but not 16s.

Petrol vRS FL estate. Have gone for 32 PSI all round - unladen.

Any advice / thoughts regarding tyre pressures? Thanks!

BTW, 10 miles done so far & ride definitely softer!

Not sure what pressures you should use for 16's but bear in mind winter tyres should be around 4psi higher than equivalent summer tyres.

Glad you asked that question as I will need to know soon, I though - ah I know I have the Octavia manual downloaded from Skoda in PDF, I'll look in there. All it does is send you to the sticker in with the fuel cap.

The manual does state .2 bar increase in pressure for Winter tyres.

Yea it does indeed I am not sure if its is referring to winter rubber of the same size as the stock tyres or the 16" ones though. I got the answer to this question last year on here somewhere by searching.

Thanks so far guys. As above, I assume the 0.2 bar increase in the manual refers to 18 inch winters. The answer I need is for 16" tyres.

Will have a search when I get time, but if anyone knows off the top of their head, please post. Cheers.

Must admit, feels about right at 32 PSI, but would rather know the correct figure so the tyres last and fuel is optimised.

BTW, glad I went for OEM Skoda 16s. The vRS brakes only JUST fit under the wheels!!!!

What do Elegance and SE owners inflate their tyres to? That would be a good starter for 10.
