A point and click photo

Featured Replies

Taken whilst on holiday in south wales. On the one dry evening I think we had, noticed the moon glinting off the sea, so pointed my Xperia X10 in the general direction, and clicked. Thought it was going to be rubbish but ended up OK....

a damn site better than my attempts when I was on the ferry back from Denmark last month, taken with a Samsung 7MP something or other. One of the better ones;

I suppose I wasn't moving :D I think I used a bit of sea wall or something as a base to ensure it didn't move. Perhaps that was cheating and not true "point and click"? :D

Sitting in my car one day and decided to take a shot of a strange reflection in a glass office block.

Wasn't sure what the hell it was till i turned round and saw the real thing.

This looks wierd and it isn't doctored in any way.

Here's the reflection.

Enlarged on a canvas that could certainly adorn most walls :thumbup:

Attempted a crop and re-sizing. Some of the detail is lost though. Hence why its not such a good camera. :D

Good night shots are tricky, the simplicity of composition combined with the play of light makes this work ;)

The cropped version reminds me of an old one of mine, it's actually an edited sunset made to look like the moon haha
