First of all I have read through various posts found whilst searching but could find the answer

Car is a 2012 vRS DSG, no auto-lights and no light sensor

I have activated them in VCDS, they now appear in maxidot and the time can be adjusted accordingly.

I can only get Leaving home to work when I switch ignition off, flash high beam and then remove the key. Fog lights then come on when the drivers door is opened.

I cannot seem to get coming home to work at all.

So my 2 questions

1. Is there any other way of activating leaving home lights without the main beam flash sequence (this looks kind of stupid) on this car? Ive tried leaving headlights on etc. but to no avail.

2. Is there something else i need to do to activate the coming home lights?

You cant activate leaving home lights on the FL without light sensors

Is the light sensor a light sensor only or an integrated light / rain sensor?

Theoretically you could install the light sensor under the dashboard somewhere (if it's available separately) and it would think its night time all the time. I know this would activate the coming home / leaving home all the time but that's ok.

Just makes it easier than routing up and bonding to the screen.

Anyone know if it's available separately and how much?
