I now have witness driver app on my iPhone so i can video the cretins who could never pass a driving test and post them up on YouTube , twitter and forums so they can be enjoyed by everyone just like the lorry driver in this thread .

Presumably that's a hands free witless driver app!!!!!

Witless driver lol!

I did think it was a regional thing when it came to bad driving but its like a disease that's spreading

I hope that copper did the **** for dangerous driving as I hate those who dawdle in the outside lane then brake test you when you let them know about it. It could cause a fatal accident :(

The video did make me chuckle, particularly as I was thinking what the trucker was yelling as I watched it. The bloke deserved to be pulled.

I've lost count of the times I've been in the left hand lane on a motorway and had to go around someone hogging the middle lane doing below the speed limit (for no reason whatsoever) with a clear road ahead. So, you have to move into the middle lane, the fast lane to overtake, back to the middle lane, then finally back into the left hand lane. You look in the mirror and they're still there, hogging away pointlessly in the middle lane. Unbelieveable. Yet if I was to carry on and undertake them, I'd be the idiot.

The list of dangerous things people do on the road is endless. Not indicating, talking on the mobile phone, pulling out of a junction onto a NSL road in front of those already on said road (forcing others to harshly brake), driving at 40mph everywhere (60mph roads, 30mph roads). The ones that absolutely snap me in two are texting and tailgating.

The amount of people I've seen straying between lanes for no apparent reason is outrageous. You overtake them to get out of their way and can see them in the rear view mirror doing the eyes up, eyes down routine, periodically veering all over the place as they look back up at the road from their phone and correcting their course.

Tailgating is beyond irritating. You give a blip on the throttle to achieve some distance, only for them to fill the gap again. Morons.

I am by no means suggesting I'm infallible as a driver, but I can confidently say I'm safer than many I've witnessed. I went to a winter driving presentation the other day, the guy who ran the presentation asked what the main hazard on the roads was. I replied "Other drivers." I think he might have been getting at surface conditions, but I was being serious.

Totally agree with above!

If you exclude place like Asia , South America ect the UK must be blessed with some of the dumbest drivers in the developed world.

I regularly drive in Europe and would rank the Germans as most disciplined and the UK as the worst disciplined. Belguims have a habit of manover ,mirror and signal style which keeps you on your toes lol!

I travel the motorways quite a bit and always see lane hoggers. Wish i could witness something like this. :)

You won't ,I fear,as trafpol are a dying breed. Lane hogging- try the M6/M1 on a Saturday afternoon/evening ,going south and reverse going north on Sunday. Folks heading south from Brum/Bradford to the smoke to visit relatives, and heading back on Sunday. Meanwhile, on other carriageway, there's stacks going from the smoke to Brum/Bradford, on Saturday and reverse on Sunday.

ALL IN L2, AT 60 . The wealthier ones are in L3 ,in the new lexus/4x4 ,causing chaos.

But then - few of them are exceeding NSL- so ( at 6" form a rear bumper) (according to BRAKE) ,THEY'RE safe.
