That look on people's face when...

I gotta admit it gets boring thrashing the 1.2 tsi 105 after a while and actually feels amazing changing at low revs but nipping around, I actually have a love the fact wow im moving quite fast but im chaging under 3,000rpm and feeling a little bit of pull and im so suprised after owning a new shape mini cooper 115bhp it just doesnt feel right thrashing the tsi not sure if the pull goes at high revs? Something weird about this engine seems like thrashing it gives no advantage? I did have a bit of a nip about changing at the redline but it felt slower (and the 2011 bmw 318i kinda blew me away).

Love it when the numpty driving 2 inches from your rear bumper for mile after mile seizes his chance to overtake when you get to a section of dual carriageway but mysteriously gets left stranded in the outside lane red faced when you drop the hammer and disappear...... ;-)

Im confused with this thread are we talking about the vrs or normal tsi, lols, the vrs is kinda obvious to people yes its quick but the tsi people seem to compare to the polo (most of these are non tsi) and cars like the corsa 1.2 which is sloooowww but the chavs still pick the corsas around my area then thrash them around, to add to this I must admit I was suprised after being in a new fiesta zetec-s which is quicker on paper actually my 1.2 tsi felt more punchy maybe just me :/

I had the 1.2 tsi as a courtesy car, I think it is 105bhp, it was the entry level, it didn't even have a door on the glove box, but I must admit it goes well, it was DSG too. AND to add to the fun it was on high wall skinny tyres, interesting to say the least.

Sod the Tsi you should see the faces on the boy racers when I put my foot down in my 1.2 HTP 70.....................and nothing happens!! Quite peaceful though! :giggle:

It is expected that members will not:

start worthless threads, stupid stunts, street racing/drag racing on public roads or bragging rights. i.e. My car is quicker than your car, or versus threads

Taff YOU aren't the law either sunshine, the quote above is from the terms that we all agree to written by the law of the site ColinD, this thread is quite clearly in breach of the forum rules.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Good point though, it does break the rules but most threads like this lose interest quickly anyway. I for one though don't want any more Type-R vs vRS nonsense like it used to be

Oh dear...

Looks like the Fabia MK2 VRS is fulfilling its destiny. Half a mile from a rapid standing start, this topic comes to a sudden halt.
